One of the main interface problems
we had was users not knowing what Fatbrain did. Adding
a tagline that was clearer than "Because Great Minds
Think A Lot" was our proposed solution. To better align
with our business goals, I dividing up the space on
the homepage to 2/3 consumer and 1/3 corporate. Users
also had difficulty finding the old search box, so making
it front and center solved this. This was the first
prototype tested with users. The previous items tested
well, but the drop downs did not work as navigation.
